One of our favorite parts of leaving the stones in random places is the feedback we get from people who find them. We have placed our url on the back of the rocks and love to hear where they have been and the impact that they had. If you have found our rocks we would love to hear from you and where you found it!

People have also tagged us in their IG posts…

Here are a few of the responses we have received:

We are Southwest Oncology Centers in south Scottsdale.  Our office has two buildings with a courtyard in between.  Someone has left several of the rocks in our plant boxes.  We love them!  Our patients love them!  They spend time looking at them while waiting for their radiation treatments.  The messages give us all inspiration.  One that was most popular was, “Worrying does not take away tomorrows troubles.  It takes away todays peace.”  Thank you so much! ~Mary

Found this at Banner Health Osborn in Phoenix. “The past is a place of reference, not a place of residence”.  After losing my wife this has helped me deal with the loss and try and move on. Someday I will leave it and maybe it will help someone else as it has helped me. Thank you. God Bless. ~Jerry

I found one of your rocks on a hiking trail here in Phoenix AZ.  I’m taking it of state to place it on another hiking trail next week.  Either in Boise or by the beach in Santa Barbara.  The one I found
“MAY YOUR DAY BE FILLED OF MAGIC AND MAY YOU NOT BE TOO BUSY TO SEE IT”  This made my day! thank you Xo

I am 81 years old and would love to trade ages with you. Look at your high school experience as if you are looking back from ten years in the future.  I will be entertaining and you won’t have to worry about fitting in.  Your place is what you choose between watching the tamed ones and the wild ones and remembering to make good decisions every day. ~Leroy

What a special moment to find one of your rocks! (Rest stop in Texas on I10 East by mile marker 395) I am traveling to Houston with my mother and sister to the Anderson Cancer Center where my mother is being treated. The rocks message is : Whatever you need is inside of you”. This is so perfect for everyone but for my mother it is a confirmation that within her is faith, prayer, hope and a strong will to overcome her cancer!  We plan on leaving our rock at the hospital to encourage another patient! Thank you! ~Teresa

I found your stone “You’ve got the light to fight the shadows, so stop hiding it away” in Coronado, California.  The stone flew to NYC in the baggage compartment on Delta airlines.  The stone has made its journey to Central New York.  The stone will be left in a garden of a home of a tween and her younger sister who each have created stones that have made their own special journeys. ~Connie

Found one of your stones at the Steel Rigg car Park on 21st August has now travelled back to France with me so Is now having ‘the last of the summer sun’  before probably travelling to Scotland at half term in October. ~Nickie

Hi Cat, and Mom! I found your beautiful turquoise rock saying “what defines us is how well we rise after falling” at the airport in Great Britain, I don’t remember if it was Manchester or Birmingham cause I’ve been at both the last 2 years. And I have to admit I brought your rock to Vienna, my hometown in Austria. First I wanted to pass it on, but then it stayed at my shelf until today. I guess I needed that beautiful color and the quote, something in me didn’t want to let go. But now I will pass it on for others to cheer up 🙂 I love your idea and your travel blog!
Besides, I am Geo-Cacher. If you don’t know what it is, check out
geocaching.com. You might like it! When out in nature or cities we search for hidden treasures. I also put some little caches out there for others to find. With an app on your phone you can log your find and write a nice message to the owner. I like getting messages from catchers who found mine. SO it’s a bit similar to what you do. And already millions of people play it worldwide. I bet there are some really cool geocaches in your area, too. If now, hide some! So I will put the rock in one of my caches and I am sure some GeoCachers will take it to the next cache, and the next… and the next. I hope they will write you about it.
If you do this via GeoCache, you automatically get the notifications when someone logged your cache 😉
Hugs from Vienna! Stay safe and keep enjoying traveling and greetings to your Mom, too

Hello, this is wayyyyy late lol but i found one of your rocks in Scottsdale Arizona in January 2020 outside my hospital room and it said “Follow your dreams They know the way”. This was really wonderful because i almost died during my surgery, just recently i really really took that in. I had a simple hernia mesh revision surgery 2nd one, and i had 3 blood transfusions during it, got 3 blood clots and was very scared when i woke up. Maybe i was dumb lol but i just blindly thought that i was going to be ok. All my family lives in Oregon where i am from and my mom was on a flight within 12 hours. My friend brought this rock into my room for me when i was recovering and stayed with me for 4 hours till visiting time was over. I just really thought when i got your rock that i would love to get out of this hospital room and paint a rock with my daughter..Thank you very much for my rock, i look at it and think back to the hospital room and i just feel grateful for my life, my kids, family, my job and just everything….So thank you and your wonderful family very much for my rock.  It lives in Portland Oregon overlooking the Willamette River. ~Cheryle

This was a BIZARRE find! Heck people may even think I’m crazy . Long story short in first part, we are a military husband and wife with 5 adult children and 2 grandchildren. We reside on army base in Louisiana. Our children reside in Florida. Covid has been horrible to all putting traveling restrictions and whatnot. We actually were allowed a leave and were traveling to Florida after 7 months to see our kids. I can’t go alone sadly because of my health and copd. My health with breathing has been failing miserably even as much as me telling my husband, “who knows maybe this will sadly be the last time I see my kids. I’ll be surprised if I make it until next block leave”. We get to Florida at a rest stop on I10 in Lee, Florida area. We park, I glance up at rest stop and ask my husband, “why on earth do these rest stops have them bathroom so far from the cars?!? How on earth am I going to walk back and forth?!?”. I managed to get to bathroom. Sat there for a while trying to breath before I made trek back to truck. As I’m walking, I stop once to breath (struggle tremendously with masks yet want to keep myself and everyone else safe from Covid). I start walking again, once again thinking, “my gawd how am I going to make it to the truck?” and it felt like someone through something at me and hit my foot and I heard was a rock when it clinked in the ground. While I know no one threw it because it was completely empty at the rest stop, no people around, I bend over to pick it up, walk to truck. My husband asks what did you pick up, and I start reading it and hears a rock they says, may your resilience never give up”. We’re you GODS messengers? You tell me. I can’t see it any other way. I’m in no way a noble banger, don’t go to church. I am Christian and believe in GOD but never a STRONG Christian. So this out some thought in my mind that it couldn’t be seen and other way then y’all are gods messengers. ~Arlene

I love your blog and hope that the only reason there haven’t been any posts since this last one about Paris is because of the travel challenges due to Covid and that you and your family are all safe and healthy!
I’m posting because I found your rock by the Costco in North Phoenix.  I saw them after I had parked my car and had commented to the attendant about them and he said that they disappear and new ones show up mysteriously.   I thought it was so cool!
After shopping and loading my car, I went and looked at the rocks (there were 3) again.   While I was looking at them again, the same attendant came by again and commented that people take them sometimes and suggested that I do so.  So I did!   I selected the “Trust the Journey the Universe is paving for you”.  This was just perfect before me as I’m a mid-50s woman who is recently diagnosed with ADHD.  It’s already be a journey and I know it will be a while before I get things figured out and can live my best life (which I’ve struggled to manage previously but now that I know why, hopefully I will be able to figure out mitigating strategies.

Anywho, once I’m secure in my trust of the Universe to guide my path and no longer need this visual reminder, my intention is to share this rock with the Universe and place it someplace else “common” for someone else to find and be inspired by/reminded of the wisdom shared on this precious stone.  🙂
Thank you so much for creating it!   <3
