Sharing Kindness Rocks along our many adventures!

San Diego Adventures Day 3

We got up and drove to the Torrey Pines State Reserve. We couldn’t find any free parking so we had to pay $15 for parking which hurt a little but we really wanted to see the views so we paid it! This is a pretty easy walk that even a

We walked up a paved hill that was accessible to cars if you couldn’t do the walk and then did about a mile loop around the reserve. There was beautiful views, interesting looking trees and some beautiful birds to see. The great thing about walks like these is that you are able to forget every single concern or worry that you have. You get lost in the beauty of the view and completely live in the moment. I find it to be soul refreshing.

After the hike, we met up with our other collie roommate Keri and her two boys Keri and Tanner at Miguel’s in Old Town, the best restaurant in all of San Diego! Along with bottomless chips and salsa, they also serve a cheese sauce which is to die for. I will say the rest of the food is mediocre but the chips, cheese dip and peach sangria is the best you will ever get.

From there we went back to Megan’s and the kids hit the hot tub!!

Later that night we tried to find some grunions doing their grunion run but we weren’t successful! It was fun going to the beach at night though and we felt like proper adventurers walking around with our lanterns and head lamps!
